Edge of Britain

Going the Distance

The Edge of Britain is not a place. It is a feeling.

It is the moment the land runs out. The moment the paddle enters cold water and there is nothing between you and the horizon. The moment the body protests before dawn and you decide, again to get up anyway and go the distance.

In 2004 they circumnavigated Britain as newlyweds travelling 2,300 miles of coastline. 22 years later they are going back. Dominic will be kayaking solo, by sea. A huge undertaking given the immense mileage and potentially challenging seas. Nicola will drive the coast, write, heal and film the world from the edge. Between them Ella, their rescue dog who will love every mile.

This is Edge of Britain.
